My wife logged about 100 dives on it over the course of five years, andit was cleaned thoroughly after every dive trip, including rinsing out the airbladder with fresh water. This backinflation BCD is specifically designed for women and provides 35 pounds oflift. The i3 system is a great systemthat connects all three dump valves together so they can be controlled with onelever, which enables you to easily dump air out regardless of your orientationin the water. It's extremely simple andintuitive to use: lift the lever up for inflation, down for dumping air. The valves are streamlined and are one-way, minimizing the amount of water able to get into the bladder when dumping air.
It also comes with an easily adjustable metalcam band for a snug fit on your tank. Further, the bladder is wrapped with a bungee to keep it streamlined when notinflated.
The BCD is weight-integratedand comes with two SureLock weight pouches that each hold ten pounds. Also included are two trim pockets on the camband for adding a bit of extra weight and fine tuning your trim (each one holdsup to five pounds). There are holes forrouting your BC inflator hose and Octo from the back to the front, and an Octoholder to keep your Octo out of the way yet easily and readily accessible. There are two pockets: one small zipperedpocket and one larger Velcro pocket. Thewaist belt is easily adjustable for a snug fit, the shoulder straps rotate forcomfort, and the chest strap slides vertically for perfect positioning over thesternum. Finally, it comes with anAquaLung titanium dive knife, and the knife's sheath is integrated into theBC. My wife absolutely loves this BCDbut we moved on to technical diving so she's using a backplate now and has noreason to have two BCDs.
