Dual Bladder equippedwith 16-inch and 12-inch protected corrugated low pressure inflation hoses. Used few times only diving Florida caves. I installed twoadditional stainless-steel grommets with surgical tubes just below of the toppart of inflatable part of the bladder to allow diver to squeeze more air intothe lower part of BC. It shifts buoyancy center more to the hips rather than tothe shoulders. Very useful when diving with steel tanks.

Surgical tubes can be removed anytime ifdesired. They can be seen in one of the photos. Built with the explorer inmind, the Nomad XT Side mount Rig is Dive Rite "off road" model madewith a super-tough exterior and modular flexibility.

The outer panels of thewing are engineered using SuperFabric® brand technology for optimum resistanceto punctures and abrasions, while remaining very flexible. In addition to its rugged exterior, the Nomad XThas the added benefit of being a modular system: the harness, wing, buttplateand crotch stap are all separate elements. This allows the traveling explorer(or any diver wishing to modify their rig) the ability to trade out wings, remove the buttplate or make any fit adjustments necessary to meet theobjective of the dive mission. A longer Gusset Control System (GCS) now allowsthe diver to control lift by controlling the profile of the wing.

This isespecially important for divers who wear aluminum tanks when. Ordive the Nomad XT with a single tank. Without the Gusset Control and withoutusing the wing keepers on the waist belt, the Nomad XT delivers a full 50 lbsof lift. Using the GCS and wing keepers, divers are able to streamline thewing's lift according to the tanks they will carry. This latest version of Nomad XT shape gives thediver improved trim where its most needed for sidemount.

The top portion of thewing no longer has a middle panel and is much narrower, while the bottom of thewing has a slight flare as compared to the previous model, providing more liftat the hips and less at the head. The inflator has been moved to the center ofthe wing, while an additional OPV has been added on the right side, allowingdivers to switch the inflator and OPVs if they choose. When switching the pulldump to the shoulder, divers like to customize the cord length. The inflator is at the top center of the wing, behind the neck.

Dual OPVs at the bottom of the wing allows for gasdumping from any angle. Also, divers who wish to swap the position of theirinflator to route from the bottom (thats the way this one is assembled), cannow do so and retain an OPV dump at the bottom of the wing for safe gas dumpingwhen inverted. The Nomad wing dual upgrade incorporates twobladders to provide back-up inflation. The dual option is ideal for technicaldivers who dive wet and do not have a drysuit as alternate buoyancy, or for anydiver who wants to ensure their backup buoyancy has the same lift capacity astheir primary. The Nomad XT Sidemount Rig comes assembled andincludes a TransPac harness, Nomad XT wing, two different style but plates and2-inch crotch strap, two LP quick connect.
