BCD - 3/8 Threaded Quick-Disconnect Hose - Depth Gauge - Pressure Gauge - High Pressure Hose - 1'st Stage - 2'nd Stage - Low Pressure Hose - Second Stage Octopus with LP Hose - Owner's Manual. TUSA Liberator Sigma II BCD - The highly anticipated BC-0101 Liberator Sigma II Buoyancy Compensator is a heavy-duty, wrap-around jacket Style BC that utilizes TUSA's Advanced Weight Loading System and Ultimate Stabilizing Harness, which ensures security and stability. With its two large, double zippered pockets with mesh drainage, you can maximize utility and function. TUSA's Advanced Weight Loading System (AWLS) allows the diver to insert weights into the weight-cartridges and loading them easily into the front of the BC jacket. Additionally, with weight distribution to the shoulder area, the weighted-down feeling that is traditionally associated with weight belts is eliminated.

Weight cartridges can accommodate from 8 lbs. (3.63 kg) to 10 lbs. (4.54 kg) of weight in each cartridge and two rear trim pockets can hold up to 4 lbs.

(2 kg) in each non-releasable pocket. The AWLS weight cartridges are easy to release in an emergency, but the safety lock makes sure that they do not release accidentally. The key to comfort with the Liberator Sigma II BCD is its Independent Harness System (IHS).

The IHS isolates the BC jacket's harness from the air cell, tightly supporting the tank even with changes in air cell inflation/deflation. The IHS prevents tank slippage and eliminates any gaps between the tank and your back. The Liberator Sigma II BCD uses TUSA's next generation IHS featuring an Integrated-Carry-Handle, additional adjustability to dial in a perfect fit and a neutrally buoyant construction allowing the diver to shed the lead removing approximately 2 lbs.

(1 kg) of lead from their system. TUSA's Ultimate Stabilizing Harness (USH) completely-eliminates tank roll and delivers an amazing fit. The USH securely holds the air cylinder in place with optimally placed rails and brings the tank closer to the body increasing tank control while reducing weight.

The RITETITE buckle is a 2-position cam strap for quick and easy adjustment. While the strap is being looped through the buckle, the buckle stays in place without needing to be held. This allows for more control and stability. This feature is part of all TUSA BCJ's.

The BCD has an adjustable sternum strap for maximum comfort. Integrates the adjustable shoulder harness system with the rear stabilizing plate and cummerbund to effectively unload the hips while ensuring a snug fit. BCD is made from durable 500-Cordura nylon with an internal urethane laminated air cell. BCD has, 2-large zippered pockets for storage of accessories.

Torso adjustable shoulder straps provide excellent comfort and adjustable waist strap with cummerbund provides precise adjustment of harness. All straps are equipped with squeeze-style side-release buckles for easy donning and doffing. Buoyancy is controlled by TUSA's patented O. Trimming buoyancy is easy with 2-dump/overpressure relief valves.

(8.16 kg to 20.9 kg) of lift depending on the BCD size. Accessory attachment is made easy with 1-stainless-steel D-ring and 4-resin D-rings.

BCD comes with an owner's manual and a 3/8 threaded low-pressure (LP) hose. Both gauges are high-quality instruments with chrome plated brass cases and the depth gauge has a diaphragm membrane actuated function. Both gauges have a large circular easy-to-read scale. The instruments are housed in a small, modern shaped console boot, made from polycarbonate and desmopan, (a thermoplastic polyurethane) two materials that guarantee protection from shocks, scratches and which, at the same time, is very light.

At the end of the console, slightly to the sides, there are two eyelets for fastening the instrument to the BCD or harness with a clip or lanyard so that it does not hang down with the risk of catching and damaging the environment or the instruments. The luminescent face of the 230' depth gauge, the first 40' of depth readings are in 10' increments, (which correspond to the area of decompression stops), and are widely spaced for ease-of-reading For at-a-glance monitoring of depth, the face is divided into 3-different colored zones: Green up to 66', light-blue from 66 to 130' and red from 130 to the end of the scale. The instrument has a maximum depth indicator that stops on the maximum depth reached during the dive. This function is extremely handy for logging of dive information. The Mini-Manometer Pressure Gauge luminescent dial reads from 0 to 5000 psi. Like the depth gauge the instruments face is divided into three different colored zones for at-a-glance monitoring of air the area from 600 psi and below is highlighted in red with a solid bar and red stripes. If gauge is used on deeper dives, the red scale extends and fades to 1,300 psi, this provides for added reserve air indication required at greater depths.

From 600 to approximately 3,000 psi is green and from 3,000 to end of scale is blue. The front glass lens is made to act as a pressure relief valve. In the event of a sudden increase in pressure inside the instrument, the glass rises slightly, allowing the excess pressure to escape.

Pressure gauge is equipped with a 7/16 threaded high-pressure hose. The instrument console is made in Italy. Featuring the DFC system, it ensures longevity and top performance. The medium-sized, ultra-light techno-polymer second stage has a large purge button for easy use with gloves, and the VAD system provides natural breathing at all depths. The super-flex hose offers maximum comfort and flexibility.

The balanced diaphragm first stage is environmentally sealed, protecting internal parts from contaminants like salt, sand, and chlorine. Advanced Coating Technology to optimize performance, safety, and reliability. The valve is 600% more durable than its predecessor, thanks to its tri-material construction. The dynamic flow control (DFC) minimizes intermediate pressure drops during inhalation, ensuring stable airflow in extreme conditions.

The first stage has 4 LP ports with 3/8" and 2 HP 7/16" ports for gauges or air integrated consoles. The second stage's Vortex Assist Design V. System creates a swirling vortex for sensitive and easy breathing at all depths. The "mesh-grid" system improves water inflow and outflow, while the compact exhaust tee enhances hydrodynamic performance. The Fluid Dynamic Deflector directs airflow from the bypass tube to the mouthpiece for effortless breathing, all within a lightweight techno-polymer housing. The super-flex hose is lightweight and soft, ensuring freedom of movement and reduced jaw fatigue. The 3/8" threaded hose measures 31.5" (80cm), and the entire regulator weighs 34 oz.

Mares Prestige Octopus - The Prestige is a mid-size octopus with a stylish design, strengthened by technology to give steady, natural and effortless breathing. All Mares second stages are a reliable downstream valve design and offer the unique patented Vortex Assisted Design (VAD) system. The air bypass tube conveys air to the mouthpiece creating a swirling vortex with a low-pressure area in the center that keeps the diaphragm down during inhalation, for very sensitive and easy breathing at all depths.

Furthermore, the compact and ergonomic exhaust tee ensures superior hydrodynamic performance and reduced exhalation resistance. The mouthpiece is made of soft hypoallergenic silicone: limiting jaw fatigue and offering a secure fit even after very long dives.

Mares Octopus Prestige incorporates the Fluid Dynamic Deflector, developed after in-depth studies and tests of fluid dynamics, is engineered to receive and properly direct the airflow from the bypass tube to the mouthpiece. Combined with the VAD system it delivers very natural and effortless breathing. Mares developed the Superflex hose after many years of testing and research. The results achieved far surpassed the tests required by EN250. Hose is extremely light weight and exceptionally soft, guaranteeing the maximum freedom of movement and further reducing jaw fatigue. The regulator comes with a high visibility yellow cover and Superflex hose that is a 3/8" threaded high flow hose and is 39.4" (100cm) in length. The regulators total weight is 13.33 oz. Regulator is nitrox ready up to 40% oxygen out-of-the-box.
